The terms on which you can use this site, who runs it, and what we do with anything you send us. Written to be read, not just accepted.

Below, “the clinic”, “we” or “ImplantEstet” means the company above, and “you” means anyone visiting the site or sending us a message through it.
2. What these terms cover
They cover your use of this website: the pages you read, the contact form, and the form you can use to send us an x-ray. By using the site you accept them. If you would rather not, please do not use the forms — you can always call us on +40 722 653 522.
Treatment itself is not contracted through the website. The doctor–patient relationship begins at the clinic, after a consultation, and is governed by Romanian medical law (chiefly Law 95/2006 on healthcare reform and Law 46/2003 on patients’ rights), by the informed consent you sign for each procedure, and by the written treatment plan you receive.
3. What this site is, and is not
It presents the clinic and the treatments we provide. It is not a shop: we sell nothing through it, we process no payments, and we will never ask you for card details, in any form. If you ever receive a payment request that appears to come from us via this site, it did not come from us.
The site also does not provide remote consultations and does not diagnose.
4. The medical information we publish
The treatment pages, the articles and any price estimate are for information. They do not replace a consultation. What treatment is indicated, what the alternatives are and what the risks are can only be decided case by case, after a clinical examination and imaging.
Results vary from patient to patientand cannot be guaranteed. The photographs in the clinical cases section are real cases treated at our clinic, published with the patients’ consent. They show what was achieved in those cases — not what will be achieved in yours.
We work to keep the site accurate and current, but we cannot guarantee that every page is complete or up to date at any given moment. Where a page makes a medical claim that rests on published research, the source is cited at the foot of that page.
5. Appointments
The contact form, WhatsApp and the phone are ways of asking us for an appointment. A request sent through the site is not a confirmed appointment. The appointment exists once we confirm it to you, by phone or in writing, with a date and a time.
If you can no longer make an appointment, please tell us at least 24 hours beforehand so we can offer the slot to another patient. This matters more than usual if you are travelling to us: we schedule longer, consecutive visits for patients coming from abroad.
6. Prices
We publish the full price list at /en/prices, precisely so it can be compared. Those prices are in Romanian lei (RON) and are indicative: they show what each treatment starts at.
The final cost of your case is set after a consultation and a treatment plan, and you receive it in writing before treatment begins. An estimate given from an x-ray is likewise indicative — an image is not a clinical examination.
Prices may change. A treatment plan already accepted in writing does not change part-way through unless a new clinical situation arises, in which case we discuss it with you first.
7. How we handle personal data
The data controller is DOCTOR PAUL MAN SRL, identified in section 1. We process personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Romanian Law 190/2018.
7.1. What the site collects
There are no user accounts and we build no profiles. Data reaches us only if you type it into one of the two forms:
- The contact form: name, phone, e-mail (optional), the treatment you are interested in, and your message.
- The “send us an x-ray” form: name, phone, e-mail (optional) and the image file you attach (a panoramic x-ray or a CBCT scan).
The server briefly holds the IP address a submission came from, purely to rate-limit automated repeat submissions. It is not stored and is not used for anything else.
7.2. An x-ray is health data
An x-ray or CBCT scan is data concerning health, a special category protected by Article 9 GDPR. We process it solely on the basis of your explicit consent — the box you tick in the form — and only for the purpose you sent it for: to look at it and reply with an estimate.
You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to contact@implantestetclinic.ro. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
7.3. Why we use it, and on what basis
- To reply to you about an appointment or a question — basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- To review your x-ray and send an estimate — basis: explicit consent, Article 9(2)(a) GDPR.
- To meet our legal obligations (medical records, accounting, reporting) once you become a patient — basis: Articles 6(1)(c) and 9(2)(h) GDPR.
We do not send newsletters, we do not market to you on the basis of anything you put in a form, and we do not sell, rent or trade your data.
7.4. Who else can see it
Only the suppliers the site needs in order to work, acting as processors and contractually barred from using the data for anything else:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting.
- Resend — the service that turns your form submission, and any attached x-ray, into the e-mail that reaches the clinic.
- The clinic’s e-mail provider, where that message is received and kept.
Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where the law requires it. Some of the suppliers above may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, the transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
7.5. How long we keep it
Messages and x-rays from people who do not go on to become patients are kept only as long as we need them to reply and to pick the conversation back up if you return, then deleted. If you become a patient, the documents join your medical file and are kept for the period Romanian rules on medical records require. You can ask us at any time to delete anything we are not legally obliged to keep.
7.6. Your rights
You have the right of access to your data, and rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent. To exercise them, write to contact@implantestetclinic.ro or to the clinic at Strada Suceag 8, 407310 Gilău, jud. Cluj. We reply within one month.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru 28–30, Bucharest — dataprotection.ro), or with the supervisory authority in your own EU country of residence.
7.7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only, and the forms restrict the size and type of file they accept. Even so, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security for anything sent through a form. If you would rather not send an image, you are welcome to bring it to the clinic instead.
7.8. Children
The site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. For a patient who is a minor, the forms must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. If we learn we have received a minor’s data without that consent, we delete it.
8. Cookies
The site uses analytics and advertising cookies, but only once you have accepted them in the banner shown on your first visit; until then none is written. What happens in your browser in each case is set out in full in our cookie policy, where you can also change your choices at any time.
9. Intellectual property
The text, the photographs of the clinic and the team, the case photographs, the video, the logo and the design of this site belong to us or are used under licence. You may read them, print them and link to them.
You may not copy or republish them, in whole or in part, on another site or in other material, without our written permission. The case photographs are published with the patients’ consent for this site; reusing them elsewhere infringes their rights as well as ours.
10. Reviews and external links
The reviews shown on the site are taken from the clinic’s public Google profile and reproduced exactly as they were written, in Romanian. We neither edit nor select them.
The site links to other websites (Google Maps, our social profiles, the medical sources cited in articles). We do not control their content and are not responsible for it. Once you follow such a link, that site’s own terms and privacy policy apply.
11. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for decisions taken solely on the basis of information on this site, without a consultation. Nor are we liable for the site being temporarily unavailable or for display errors, though we fix them as quickly as we can.
Nothing in this section limits our medical, professional or contractual liability to patients, which remains in full as provided by law.
12. Complaints and dispute resolution
If something has gone wrong, please tell us first — on +40 722 653 522 or at contact@implantestetclinic.ro. Most things are settled in a conversation.
If we cannot resolve it between us, you may go to:
- the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) and its alternative dispute resolution body — anpc.ro (in Romanian);
- the Romanian College of Dentists, Cluj branch, on matters of the dentist’s professional conduct;
- the Cluj Public Health Directorate, on matters of the clinic’s licensing and operation;
- the competent courts at our registered office.
13. Changes and governing law
We may change these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, and the date it was last updated is at the top. Please check it from time to time.
These terms are governed by Romanian law, and any dispute is for the competent Romanian courts.
